AGT and Triumph successfully demonstrated the superior capabilities of the
new AirTEM helicopter time domain EM and magnetometer system over a gold
prospective area near Stepnogorsk, Kazakhstan. The survey collected over
1100 km of high quality data under adverse winter conditions using a
Kazgeology supplied Russian MI-8. The MI-8 was definitely overkill for the task. Reliable but noisy. An AS350 B3 or even a Bell Jet Ranger is usually better suited to this light weight,
easily managed deep penetrating EM system.
In the spring of 2017 the government of Turkey awarded EMI Grup a
multi-million dollar contract to conduct a country-wide airborne gradient
magnetic and radiometric survey of the entire country. This 3-year contract is
part of a larger geoscience budget appropriation managed by MTA.
AGT Systems and ATS were subcontracted to modify and equip two Cessna
208EX aircraft with a full XYZ magnetic gradient system plus 48 litre gamma spectrometer with supporting video cameras, GPS, navigation and low level survey safety systems along with training and long term support. These two turnkey systems join a list of other airborne fixed wing and helicopter geophysical survey packages AGT has supplied to governments and private industry operating in a number of countries.
As a part of this large contract MTA purchased over 10 Geosoft Oasis Montage licenses through us and we arranged full training at their new data centre. AGT is an authorized reseller of Geosoft products and maintains qualified personnel skilled at all relevant applications.

AGT provided an integrated magnetic gradiometer and gamma spectrometer system to Geoken and installed the complete package into a Kazakhstan registered Cessna Caravan. This system is currently (2018) taking part of the country-wide mag/spec survey for the Geological Survey of India.
A similar system was provided to Aerogeo in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. It is actively engaged in mineral exploration in Yakutia.
Geoken also has a helicopter XY gradient magnetometer and spectrometer system in its inventory, also provided by the AGT team. It is conducting detailed exploration surveys in Kazakhstan
Historical Note
AGT has also instrumented, installed, tested and delivered three aerogravity and aeromagnetic Grand Caravan survey systems to Brazil. As an integral component of that contract AGT trained Brazilian crews on the operation and data processing of the airborne data.
